Fixed Term/ Secondment until 31 December 2021, Wellington
Are you experienced in the property/construction projects space? Do you thrive in juggling tasks on multiple projects and seeking solutions? Do you enjoy working in a collaborative team environment? We are looking for two highly organised self-starters who can add a lot of value in a fast-paced delivery environment.
As a Programme Co-ordinator you will be supporting the Property Development team to deliver on some big projects, including a nationwide service centre refurbishment project. Needless to say – you will have to hit the ground running! One role will support our Design Lead and the other our Delivery Lead.
To be successful in either role you will have:
Demonstrated experience in a project environment within the property/construction arena. Good understanding of design and construction processes. Sound planning skills for timely completion of the project. Experience in working quickly, with attention to detail to achieve successful outcomes. Excellent communication skills, spoken and in writing. Adaptable to changing demands, self-managing and excellent problem-solving abilities. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Project and Excel and research ability. Knowledge of the public sector would be useful. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to be challenged.
About the team
This project group is entering the critical delivery stage of one of the largest property programmes in Government this year. This programme represents an exciting opportunity to influence and deliver significant change to the way the Ministry operates it front line sites.
