Product and Marketing Specialist

Your responsibilities will include:
Identify opportunities for business growth and contribute to strategic discussions.
Analysing data regarding consumer patterns and preference.
Increase efficiency and deliver excellent quality products and services.
Planning, developing and organising advertising policies and campaigns to support sales objectives.
Executing our digital & technology roadmap, content management, customer data management.
Supporting business growth and development through the preparation and execution of marketing objectives, policies and programs.
Develop & implement digital and E-Commerce strategy to improve website performance
Planning and executing advertising strategies and campaigns to reach target markets, creating consumer awareness and effective promotion of products.
Undertake research on potential demand and market characteristics for new and existing products.
Collection and analysing data and other statistical information.
Advising on all elements of marketing such as pricing, advertising and sales promotion, selling, and distribution channels
Coordinate with the team of lead generation, sales and customer service to ensure the seamless customer experience.
Commissioning and undertaking market research, analysing the findings, and planning advertising, marketing and public relations activities
Appraising and selecting material submitted by writers, Photographers, Illustrators and others to create favourable publicity
Acquiring and updating knowledge of employers' and competitors' goods and services, and market conditions.
Assessing customers' needs and provide pre-sales support through product demonstrations and presentations.
Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, and completing contracts

To be considered for this role you will need:
Previous experience in marketing and digital media management of at least 6 months in a similar business.
A tertiary qualification in marketing/business/IT will be advantageous.
In depth knowledge & experience with native social platforms.
Proven experience in developing content strategies and calendars across all platforms (web, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, eDM).
Experience managing a large customer database.
The ability to assimilate technical product detail and create compelling product marketing material.
A proven ability to plan, develop and execute marketing strategies.
Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills.
Energy and a great can-do attitude.
Legal right to work in New Zealand.
