Our client is New Zealand's leader offering an incredibly powerful SAAS platform utilised by many companies that support ( sell to) the construction and infrastructure industries of NZ.
They're very busy ...COVID seems to have enhanced their business ... and they need to appoint another Business Development Manager to continue to assist in growing their client memberships. WHAT A GREAT ROLE!
Another great bonus is that you will have the flexibility to work from the office, if that is what you prefer, or you can work form home.
While there is an expectation that you work 40 hours, if you manage your time well, it will allow some flexibility in your day. ( Maybe do some sales administration at night?)
Presenting the platform to key decision makers and tailoring solutions to suit their businesses Supplementing leads generated by telemarketers by own your own prospecting and cold calling Putting together sales documentation/ proposals Being active in the market with 8 sales presentations a week. Doing on-line webinar type sales presentations as well as face to face sales calls Management of sales pipeline Work autonomously to manage own schedule You may be based anywhere in Auckland – with work from home options About YOU
4+ years' field based B2B Sales - face to face experience (open to industry, but prefer those who have sold a non- tangible solution or a service, rather than product). Must be entirely confident in new business activities (cold calling through to sales close) Vision to create solutions that benefit the client & maximize sales Communicates with confidence & intelligence Strong time management / pipeline management A proven track record of securing new business & achieving sales activity targets. Ability to tailor a solution to suit the needs of your clients. Closing the deal; with a smile and exceptional service, and then on to the next! You will need to demonstrate attributes of drive, adaptability, be a strong presenter, communicator and listener. You will already be a seasoned salesperson, who is confident in their own sales ability, comfortable operating at a senior level, hungry to exceed and one that delivers results by being active in the market. (Those that have been in media/ advertising sales/ software or other solutions have been very successful in this role).
You will join a team of professional sales people, who are motivated and driven, management that is supportive and will treat you like the senior sales person that you are….no micro managing here.
